This is a family favourite that never disappoints. Perfectly cooked chicken thigh and Blythburgh ham, cooked with garlic in a thick and creamy veloute. Laced with wholegrain mustard and cream, but the secret to this pie is the texture and flavour combinations within. As with all our pies, an all butter shortcrust brings mouth watering texture to this tasty offering and a perfect relationship between high-quality meat and sauce, make this a perfect pie every time. The only thing we guarantee about this pie, is it will take less time to devour than it does to make, but we don’t mind, enjoy!
Ingredients: Chicken, Ham, Onion, Garlic, Cream, Chicken Stock, WHOLEGRAIN MUSTARD, Salt,Pepper, MILK, EGG, Butter, Plain Flour, WHEAT Flour: Calcium Carbonate, Iron, Niacin, Thiamine, Margarine, Palm, Olive and Rapeseed Oils.
Cooking Instructions: For best results cook in an oven, 180c (fan) for thirty minutes in the centre of the oven. Remove from Oven after 30 mins and ensure the pastry is golden brown and not translucent. Gently place a tea towel over the pie and lift away the foil. The pastry should be cooked and brown. If the pie needs a little longer simply allow the pie to settle back in the foil and cook for further minutes until pie is brown all over. Allow the pie to settle for 3-5 mins before serving. Enjoy!
